Step One
Terraforma works with industrial point source emitters in manufacturing, refining, and power generation to screen for feasible CCUS business models. Terraforma analyzes individual facility specifications, fuel sources, flue gas composition, local geology, infrastructure, transportation, and access to offtaking markets, iterating thousands of project design configurations.
Step Two
Terraforma performs feasibility analysis and pre-FEED techno-economics (TEA), life cycle analysis (LCA), & cost-benefit analysis (CBA) to ensure technical feasibility, model actual performance, and create a blueprint for a final engineering design while beginning to gather indications of interest from project stakeholders.
Step Three
Terraforma finances projects from early stage development through financial close leveraging access to early risk capital, development, and construction capital from public and private markets, including tax equity finance. Terraforma identifies offtakers, project partners, and strategic investors to bring projects from concept to financial close.
Step Four
Terraforma manages projects as integrated owner's engineer and global project manager, managing a complex network of partners and vendors, the daily operations of carbon capture and clean fuels production, and the transportation and delivery of clean fuel projects, environmental attributes, and tax credits generated by our projects.
